Perfect Caribbean

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting, the two bedroom suites are actually just two connecting suites but are absolutely beautiful with everything you need and a view to die for. The food was good, albeit a tad repetitive. The kids had the best time with the kids club team and the beach is perfect

Small relaxing all-inclusive

Great beach. Clean hotel. Helpful staff. Nice pools, especially lap pool. Good quality food. Would have been a lot more enjoyable if there was a DAILY dinner buffet. During this past week, only 2 restaurants were open for dinner, both serving a la carte meals. Portions were very small and I had to order more than 1 entree to avoid leaving hungry. I would have given the resort a 5 if there was a nightly buffet. Still worth coming here for all the other positives

New Years visit

Our first Christmas holiday and what a great location, slightly surreal to see the Christmas tree next to all the palm trees and hear the xmas music in such great weather. Good location on a really lovely beach, room had a sea view overlooking the pool, no noise from the pool heard due to good double glazing. Clean and well run hotel, staff were really lovely and keen to help. Great place to relax the adult pool area was nice and quiet and no reservation of loungers meant it was always easy get a sun bed (these were really comfy) tried all the restaurants they were great and the New Years party was excellent, band and fireworks were excellent would definitely go back

Returning guests

We were a bit concerned as other repeat guests with the refurb and the new building. Do we like the look of it, no we don't but when sitting on the beach you don't have to look at it. The new reception area is lovely and check in was quick and easy and welcomed with a cold flannel and a drink. Great start as some of the original staff were there and it was like returning home. We were taken to our rooms which were by the family pool and have been refurbished to a high standard and the baths have been replaced by lovely rain showers. The beds are really comfy and the air conditioning worked really well. There was a coffee maker in the room which we managed to use for tea making. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels and bedding changed regularly. If you need an airer for wet costumes etc just ask at reception, doesn't seem right putting wet clothes on the back of the new chairs to dry. The beach has now been extended and is absolutely beautiful with plenty of sunbeds, no need to reserve the beds as always plenty available. Drinks service on beach by Chester is very good with ice cream and sorbet daily. Beach towels always available . Water sports guys are really friendly and will willingly take you out on the hobie cat, nothing too much trouble. My Husband got knocked over by a wave whilst we were there and hurt his arm, the hotel staff were all very helpful and looked after us and dealt with everything from calling an ambulance and welcoming us back from the hospital afterwards, big thank you to Mr Best,Olivia and your team for looking after us. There are some steps down to the beach and this could do with a handrail and the steps swept regularly as with the sand on them they became slippery at times. It is great to listen to music on the beach but not the same tracks day in and day out and maybe not quite so loud! The Mahogany restaurant is a bit like a canteen but this was the only one open for breakfast, sometimes there was a queue to be seated , the food was a,ways hot and plenty of choice. Dinner reservations had to be made in the mornings and all restaurant menus were available to help you choose which one. There is a dress code for the Aqua Terre and Cerulean but sadly not enforced. Can't fault the food, drinks or service. The new rum shoppe was a great place to get a coffee and a definite bonus. There is a BBQ on the beach once a week but this seemed to make a lot of extra work for the staff especially as justafter it was all set up it rained. There is still a restaurant open if you want an alternative. The bar outside the mahogany restaurant could do with a better cover as when it rained the staff spent ages clearing up the water.Soft drinks were on the bar in the hot sun which made them very warm and not very nice. In all the washrooms there are tissues to dry hands on but surely hand driers would be more efficient and cheaper the long run. We looked at the new rooms in the new block and they are amazing and really beautiful and decorated to a high standard but we were quite happy with the older rooms. We will be back in November for our visit no 16 as we still love Sea Breeze, the staff make this place, too many to mention, they will do everything to make your visit a memorable one so keep up the good work

Winter sun

What a great place to relax on the beach. The staff are amazing, can't do enough for you. The rooms all seem to have sea views. Food is good with plenty of choice. The beach is fantastic with all kinds of boards and boats to loan out. Highly recommend

Winter Vacation New Years Eve 8 days

Very impressed with this hotel. I have stayed all over the world and this was my 3rd trip to Barbados and my 20+ to a Caribbean island. The place was in great shape and very well decorated and updated. The hotel was very well staffed and pleasant as well as helpful. I found the food to be very good considering it's all inclusive. Barbados is one of the few islands where it is safe to travel and easy to go out to eat. It has the best restaurants in the Caribbean, but it was nice to not have to worry about cost all the time which each meal. Most of the restaurants are in Hole town, about a 35 minute drive if you take the HWY, but there is a lively St Lawrence gap which has a ton of really good places to eat and late night bars which is a 5 minute drive or taxi. The beach in front of the hotel was wonderful with some ok snorkeling off to the right. There are 2 hobie cats that they let you take out or sale with you, there was 2 guys working the beach at all times, so there was no issue getting items like boogie boards or snorkels. They also had windsurfing lesions as well. There was great drinks, top shelf for the most part. They had some good activities as well that we took advantage of. I thought that this hotel was great value and very nice. Easy to parking as well. The rooms all seemed to have a great view, I know ours did. I have done all inclusive that have had crappy food and ones that have good food, and this one has some really good food and did not feel like we wanted to eat out. I will definitely go back, seem like a great place for families as well. They also did a great spread for New Years Eve. All the guest were commenting on what a great job that they did

Exceptional family holiday

We stayed at the Sea Breeze over Christmas and were blown away by the resort. The hotel is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The beach was glorious with pristine white sands and perfect waves. The room was lovely - brand new, spacious and incredibly comfortable. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly and professional, and the Christmas decorations and schedule were the icing on the cake. We're already planning a return trip! Fabulou

Memorable

We stayed at this hotel several years ago before its refurbishment and have just revisited with our family. We had 2 adjoining junior suites on the 6th floor of the mahogany block and they were stunning!! The beach is better than we remember and the sea was gorgeous. The a la carte options are essential for us in the all inclusive option and the drinks were excellent. A few mentions for staff who excelled . A big thanks to Karen at the front desk who was so helpful prior to ; and during our stay! If you read this Karen I would still love one of the Sea breeze beach club beach bags and are happy to pay for one as you will have my details. Kevin on the watersports section is an absolute gentleman. So kind , thoughtful and informative. Marcia at breakfast was so friendly and helpful , Cuthsbert behind the bar was so efficient!!! And as for Peggy and Kim , what a duo , a credit to the hotel . Hope to return but probably will never re create our memorable family Christmas so a big thank you

A lovely hotel

We visited Sea Breeze as a family in December 2018. Overall we found the hotel to be lovely - well laid out, relaxed, friendly with excellent food, great pools and a gorgeous beach. We stayed in one of the older sections, the room was recently renovated and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely large balcony with a beautiful sea view, and we were situated in the family-friendly section by the main pool which suited us well. All the public areas of the hotel were clean and had nice decor. Some areas were really beautiful, including the aqua terra and cerulean restaurants. The pools were pristine and there were ample loungers: even in the middle of the day there were always some available. The beach was wonderful - white sand, gentle waves (occasionally a bit more active if the wind picked up, but this was not a problem), and again there were ample loungers. The food was generally excellent. Every now and again something wasn't to our taste, but that was the exception to the rule. Breakfast was probably our least favourite meal, but the egg station was excellent (I miss Sophia's omelettes!). Lunch was a mixture between a standard menu and a variable buffet, but it was generally pleasant. Dinner was lovely - a choice of 2 or 3 restaurants each night and I would recommend trying all of them. The kids club was open and although our children were too young to be left unattended they still enjoyed playing in there. The staff running the kids club were lovely. There were plenty of pre-teens enjoying the games room next door too. The drinks were great: a good mixture of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and there was a cocktail menu that we tried to work our way through! Our children loved having fruit juice and milkshakes throughout the day and are still disappointed that there's only water on offer now they're back home! The evening entertainment was low-key but this suited us fine. There are a few reasons I felt I had to give 4 stars rather than 5: 1. As our children are under 2 years they still sleep in cots. I requested 2 cots to be set up in our room when booking, and I contacted the hotel directly prior to our arrival to ensure that they knew we needed the cots. I was aware of the time we were arriving (early hours in the morning UK time) and that it was likely our children would be exhausted after a long day travelling. The hotel representative assured me that the cots would be set up in advance, but sadly this was not the case. When we were taken to our room I immediately requested the travel cots, and these were organised within about 20 minutes, but I did feel very let down by this. I felt as though I had explained how important this was, but had been ignored. As a consequence our children were unnecessarily exhausted and upset for an extra 20 minutes. 2. We also requested, and paid for, a ground floor room as we knew we would need to use the stroller from time to time. Again, I explained this to the hotel directly prior to our arrival. Sadly, this was also ignored! As soon as we were taken to our room I said that we were meant to be on the ground floor, but just got told that we were on the first floor because we'd been given an "upgrade", and received no apology. We were too tired, and too anxious to get the children to bed, to argue the point. The room we had was lovely, and as the holiday went on we really valued our balcony, but it was a pain lugging a heavy double stroller up and down a flight of stairs, especially in the evening whilst desperately trying to keep the children asleep so we could enjoy dinner! 3. There are as only a basic kettle with tea bags and instant coffee available in our room. I feel as though the rooms have been renovated beautifully but are missing a nice coffee machine. 4. On a couple of occasions our room hadn't been cleaned by mid/late afternoon, and sometimes we were left without towels and had to ring reception for them. 5. The plumbing was a bit dodgy! The loo sometimes filled with water even if no one had been in the room all day! 6. Service, particularly at breakfast, was a little bit and miss - sometimes it was second to none, sometimes you had to ask 3 times for coffee. Likewise, there were a couple of occasions when we were waiting a really long time for food (eg one evening when after an hour and fifteen minutes only our starters had arrived!) 7. The dinner booking system is a bit odd. We were often up early so it wasn't an issue, but if you wanted a lie in I suspect you'd end up having a dinner reservation at 9pm

Great place to stay

This is a great, smaller all-inclusive resort. Restaurants and activities on the resort are all close. Food is good and best of all were the people. The staff truly felt like family and it was hard to tell them goodbye. Would definitely visit here again
