If you have a direct booking with us, we would greatly appreciate if you reconfirm your booking with us a month before your stay. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and the planned reductions in air traffic to Barbados, it may be that your original flight date is not available. If you've booked through a tour operator or travel agent, we recommend that you contact them for the reconfirmation of your travel plans. Rest assured we are here and happy to help you adjust your stay dates accordingly.
We require all guests to use our ADVANCED CHECK-IN SERVICE prior to arrival, to assist with reducing the length of the check in process, and also to reduce contact for our teams on arrival as possible.


Should you or anyone in your traveling party be diagnosed with COVID 19 prior to the start of your holiday. Ocean Hotels agrees to extend your booking to future dates subject to availability and season, provide a credit note for any unused days or cancel without penalty. Additionally, this will also be applicable if your country of origin or Barbados prohibits travel or if your flight is canceled or changed. Medical or Airline documentation must be provided. Should you test positive prior to returning to your home country you may be able to remain on the property to isolate in your room (if asymptomatic and with Ministry of Health approval), a special distressed rate will apply past your original departure date. Barbados Government TRAVEL Protocols  


We are happy to advise that Sea Breeze Beach House has been inspected by the Ministry of Health and has been approved as a ‘Designated and Approved Hotel' to accept guests from high-risk countries. 
New protocols for travellers have been in effect from May 25, 2022 and the following applies to: 

Fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to take a pre-flight COVID test to enter Barbados.
Fully vaccinated guests arriving at the hotel will have full access to all resort amenities including the beach and can enjoy free movement on the island from the day of their arrival. 

Fully Vaccinated means: A person who has received both shots of any vaccine listed on the approved list of vaccines or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 14 days have passed before arriving on the island. Any party of persons composed of fully vaccinated and unvaccinated or non-fully vaccinated persons travelling together will be treated as non-vaccinated in keeping with the national protocols. Children will be deemed the same status as their parents. 

Unvaccinated travellers are required to have a negative pre-flight test within three days prior to arrival in Barbados, they are also required to take a rapid antigen test on arrival at the airport. Once the result is negative, they are allowed to continue to the hotel for their stay. 
As of June 1st they will no longer be required to quarantine in their rooms on arrival at the hotel and will have full access to all resort amenities including the beach and can enjoy free movement on the island from the day of their arrival. 

Due to current occupancies and protocols all restaurants will not be open every night however, a selection of dinner menus from all our restaurants will be available on rotation throughout your stay. 
Our housekeeping service has returned to daily service and Turn Down service is available on request. Staff are not permitted to be in the room when guests are present. 
Guests should also note that the hotel operation and its implementation of the hotel's COVID protocols are guided by the Ministry of Health of Barbados, and services may be affected due to mandatory government policies. We apologize in advance for any disappointment caused due to any disruption of our services but will endeavor to provide the highest level of service possible through this difficult time. 
Guests are required to ensure that they maintain physical distancing, wear masks when in enclosed areas public areas, and wash or sanitize their hands regularly. 

We strongly advise all guests to complete their check-in form in advance to ensure an expedited check-in with reduced contact. Prior to arrival. please complete this form and read our StaySafe protocols which are available on this page. 


As of June 1, 2022 the following will be in effect:



All staff working in the operations of the hotels are fully vaccinated or are required to present a negative PCR test result weekly.


Vaccinated guests may be asked to produce their valid vaccinated certificate but require no testing to enter the property.
Both local and international unvaccinated guests must produce a negative Rapid Antigen test certificate taken not more than 24 hours before check-in.
Children 17 and under will follow the protocol of their parents or accompanying adults.


For your convenience, PCR testing can be arranged on-site at the hotel using this link . The cost of the PCR test is US $130 per person. Test results will be guaranteed within 24 Hours but are usually returned within 12 hours..The cost of an Antigen test is US $60 (Results 1 - 4 hours). Should the time not be convenient you may also choose other locations on the island (transport not included).

DEPARTURE: Please check your countries requirements for re-entering your country.
