Please note that of November 15th, the present curfew for Barbados is 12midnight to 5am until further informed by the government of Barbados. Barbados Government TRAVEL Protocols
We are happy to advise that Sea Breeze Beach House has been inspected by the Ministry of Health and has been approved as a ‘Designated and Approved Hotel' to accept guests from high-risk countries.
APPROVED HOTEL PROTOCOLS
New protocols for travellers have been in effect from October 24, 2021 and the following applies to:
Summary: Free to enjoy the island on arrival
As of Sunday 24th October 2021, fully vaccinated travellers, who arrive with a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result, may be notified by health officials at the airport, that they have been selected for a randomized arrival rapid Antigen test on entry. This replaces the mandatory second COVID-19 PCR test for all fully vaccinated travellers previously in place.
Fully vaccinated guests arriving at the hotel will have full access to all resort amenities including the beach and can enjoy free movement on the island from the day of their arrival.
Fully Vaccinated means: A person who has received both shots of any vaccine listed on the approved list of vaccines or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and 14 days have passed before arriving on the island. Any party of persons composed of fully vaccinated and unvaccinated or non-fully vaccinated persons travelling together will be treated as non-vaccinated in keeping with the national protocols. Children will be deemed the same status as their parents.
Summary: Restricted to room for a minimum of 5 Days
Unvaccinated guests are mandated to stay in approved accommodation for 5 nights, after which they are required to take a second PCR test. Test results may take 24 - 48 hours to be returned.
On arrival guests will be accommodated in the Driftwood Building, (Classic Poolside/Ocean View Room), until they receive their negative test result. We suggest that guests and operators book a Classic Room for the first 7 nights of their stay to accommodate this Government protocol.
On receipt of a negative result from their PCR test, guests will be accommodated in their originally booked room either from the day following receipt of their result or, subject to availability and timing, on the same day.
Please also note that in accordance with current COVID protocols unvaccinated guests are required to stay in their rooms prior to the confirmation of a negative result of their mandatory second test. All meals and beverages will be served via room service at no additional charge while in quarantine. This service will be provided during our outlet opening times. Additionally, it is a requirement for guests to provide the Ministry of Health with twice daily temperature checks and we recommend bringing your own thermometer.
Housekeeping service will be on request. Staff are not permitted into occupied quarantine rooms. Linen, towels and other supplies will be provided to the guest room door.
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that unvaccinated guests advise us prior to arrival to ensure that quarantine protocols can be pre-booked and arranged ahead of arrival.
CHANGES TO GENERAL HOTEL SERVICES
Due to current occupancies and protocols all restaurants will not be open every night however, a selection of dinner menus from all our restaurants will be available on rotation throughout your stay. To avoid guests congregating around the bar all drinks will be served.
Housekeeping service will be provided every two days unless requested daily and nightly Turn Down service has been suspended. Staff are not permitted to be in the room when guests are present.
Guests should also note that the hotel operation and its implementation of the hotel's COVID protocols are guided by the Ministry of Health of Barbados, and services may be affected due to mandatory government policies. We apologize in advance for any disappointment caused due to any disruption of our services but will endeavor to provide the highest level of service possible through this difficult time.
Guests are required to ensure that the maintain physical distancing, wear masks when in public areas and wash or sanitize their hands regularly.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR STAY
STAFF: All staff working in the operations of the hotels are fully vaccinated or are required to present a negative PCR test result weekly.
GUESTS: Additionally, both local and international visitors will be required to produce the following documents on check-in which are in line with the island's travel protocols.
Proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test result, taken within three days of their check-in date. Antigen, self-administered tests, or home kits will not be accepted.
Children 12 and over must be fully vaccinated or show a negative PCR test result
Children 6 - 11 are required to show a negative PCR test result
Children 5 and under are not required to sow a negative PCR test result
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TESTING
ARRIVAL: For your convenience, we will be offering PCR testing at the hotel. Persons can book their appointment at the front desk, the cost of the test US $145 per person. Alternatively, guests may also have a free PCR test done at the local polyclinic. Transport must be arranged with an approved transport provider through the front desk. Test results can take between 24 - 48 hrs after testing.
DEPARTURE: Please check your countries requirements for re-entering your country. The UK, and the USA currently require a negative ANTIGEN or a PCR test to re-enter the country. You may choose to either have the PCR test at the hotel for $145 (results within 24 - 48 hours) or arrange a taxi through guest services , costing approximately $40 US return, depending on numbers and wait time) to a local testing centre. Tests cost 50 US$ per person (ANTIGEN results 30mins to 1 hr/ PCR results 24 - 48 hours). Please note the centre does not accept cash and must be paid by card. Please walk with your flight itinerary and your passport for all passengers requiring testing.
