Hotel

  • WHAT PAYMENT TYPES ARE ACCEPTED?

    We accept VISA, MasterCard and Amex for payment on travel plans. Your choice of credit card will be charged according to the payment instructions detailed at the time of your reservation.
  • WHAT CURRENCY IS USED IN BARBADOS?

    The official currency of Barbados is Barbadian dollars and we can facilitate foreign currency exchange to Barbadian dollars at the Front Desk of the hotel.
    Please remember to notify all of your issuing banks (ATM and Credit Card) the specific dates that you'll be traveling to Barbados prior to your departure in order to ensure easy access to your funds while away.
  • WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

    Arriving and departing:

    • Check-in at Sea Breeze is 3 pm and Check-out is at 11 am.
    • Luggage and large items may be stored with the bellman if you arrive prior to check-in.
    • Early Check Ins/Outs are subject to availability and may incur an additional cost.
  • IS SEA BREEZE AN ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT?

    Sea Breeze Beach House is an all-inclusive hotel and resort. The daily room rate includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and all house brand beverages. Non-motorized water sports are also included.
  • WHAT IS THE DRESS ATTIRE AT THE RESORT?

    Resort and sports attire is appropriate for men, women and children throughout the day. For evening dining, the dress code is elegantly casual. Appropriate attire includes - for men, tailored shorts, dress and jean pants, Polo shirts, short or long sleeve button down shirts with dress sandals or enclosed shoes. For women, dress and jean pants, dresses, blouses/tops and skirts with dress sandals or enclosed shoes.
  • WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN BARBADOS?

    The climate in Barbados is tropical with temperatures ranging from 25 – 30 degrees Celsius / 77 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. In the islands there are two seasons: Wet and Dry.
     
    The Wet Season is from June through November, and the dry season is from December through May. Brief heavy showers are common throughout the year. We call that Liquid Sunshine!
  • WHAT IS THE WORRY FREE HURRICANE GUARANTEE?

    Barbados is also fortunate to be located outside of the hurricane belt, and the last hurricane to hit the island was in 1966.
  • IS THERE AN ATM ON PROPERTY?

    Unfortunately we do not have an ATM located on property. However, the closest ATM is located in Oistins, which is a short 5 minute drive or a quick 15 minute walk from the hotel.
  • WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS AT SEA BREEZE BEACH HOUSE?

    There are a few regulations concerning age which are strictly enforced.

    Minimum age requirements at Sea Breeze Beach House:

    • To reserve a room ~ 18 years or older
    • To drink alcohol ~ 18 years or older
    • To use the adult pool and Jacuzzi’s – 18 years or older
    • To use the Lap pool, persons under 16 years of age must be supervised by an adult.
  • DOES SEA BREEZE HAVE PARKING FOR HOTEL GUESTS?

    Yes, there is complimentary parking available for guests.
  • CAN WE DRINK TAP WATER?

    Tap water is safe to drink in Barbados as the island is limestone based and this acts as a natural filter.

Rooms

  • WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM ROOM CAPACITY?

    The Classic Standard, Poolside Garden, Ocean View & Luxury Oceanfront Suite can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults & 2 children/3 adults. Larger accommodations are available such as two, three and four bedroom suites, which can accommodate up to 10 adults and 2 children.
  • ARE COTS AVAILABLE FOR INFANTS?

    Complimentary cots can be requested in advance of your stay through [email protected]. Please note that other than a cot, we are unable to place additional beds inside the rooms.
  • WHAT ARE THE AMENITIES IN THE CLASSIC ROOMS?

    All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, mini fridge, telephone, television and in-room safe for the storage of valuables.
  • WHAT ARE THE AMENITIES IN THE LUXURY ROOMS?

    All of the amenities included in the classic rooms plus: robes and slippers, Keurig coffee makers, complimentary beach bag to take home, pre-stocked mini bar, daily in-room canapé selection.
  • DOES YOUR HOTEL OFFER ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS FOR THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED?

    All public areas are completely wheelchair accessible, and we strive to provide the best for all our Sea Breeze guests. While the hotel does not have any specific handicap rooms, the showers have a small 2” step to enter and we provide handicap shower chairs for guests on request. Please contact us directly to see how we can make your stay more comfortable.
  • DO I NEED AN ELECTRICITY ADAPTER?

    The resort has a voltage capacity of 110V for U.S. and Canadian electric razors, hair dryers and other standard electrical equipment used in guest rooms. All European appliances require an adapter.

  • CAN I PRE-ARRANGE TO HAVE FLOWERS OR A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE?

    With our fabulous array of amenities, guests can receive gift baskets such as champagne, floral arrangements or specialty food items. For a full list of gifts please contact us at [email protected].
  • IS THERE LAUNDRY AT SEA BREEZE?

    We do not currently have laundry facilities on property. However, it would be our pleasure to arrange for an off-site laundromat to provide this service for you. More information can be collected at Front Desk regarding this service.
  • DOES SEA BREEZE BEACH HOUSE OFFER BABY-SITTING SERVICE?

    Yes, we do offer babysitting services at Sea Breeze. For more information on rates please contact [email protected].

DINING

  • WHAT IS THE DRESS ATTIRE AT THE RESTAURANTS?

    Casual attire is appropriate throughout the day. Shoes and cover-ups are required in the lobby and in all indoor restaurants.
  • EVENING DINING DRESS CODE

    The attire to be worn in the Mahogany Restaurant, Cerulean Fine Dining Restaurant and Aqua Terra Restaurant is smart casual.
    All other restaurants for evening dining would be resort casual attire.

    SMART CASUAL CLOTHING FOR A WOMAN

    Dress (Sleeveless maxi dresses are appropriate, dressy blouse, cotton or linen slacks, cotton or linen skirt, dress shorts, heels or dressy sandals.

    SMART CASUAL CLOTHING FOR A MAN

    Shirt with a collar, polo-style shirt, long dress pants or dress shorts with a belt, jeans or linen pants, closed-toe shoes, loafers or top-siders. Sports jackets are optional.

    For evening dining in these locations, please no:
    Baseball caps, bathrobes, bathing suits, beach coverups, camisoles, hoodies, carpenter pants, T-shirts, flip-flops, sweatsuits, short-shorts/saisy Maes, cutoffs, torn shorts, tube tops, mandals, yoga pants.
  • DO ANY OF YOUR RESTAURANTS OFFER A CHILDREN'S MENU?

    All of our restaurants welcome children, including the fine dining restaurant, Cerulean, which also offers a children's menu.
  • HOW CAN I MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS?

    To make dinner reservations within 30 days of your arrival, please contact [email protected]. Alternatively, on the evening of your arrival a dinner reservation will be made for you. Following this you are able to make dining reservations the next morning with our guest services team.

    When traveling to Sea Breeze confirm your flights into Barbados Grantley Adams International. The airport code is BGI. The following direct flights are offered:

  • TRANSFERS AND TAXI

    Sea Breeze is approximately a 15 minute drive from the airport. Transfers to and from the resort are offered on our website or by contacting [email protected] Taxis are also readily available at Barbados Grantley Adams Airport. 
  • WEATHER AND TRAVEL DELAYS

    In the event of official airline delays or cancellations for whatever reason that might result in guest arrival a day or more later than planned, Sea Breeze Beach House will offer guest a voucher to the value of the nights rate towards an extended or future stay.
     
    In the event of an official severe weather system warning issued for the island of Barbados resulting in closed airports or cancelled flights, Sea Breeze Beach House will waive the cancellation penalty and provide a voucher to the value of the full deposit paid towards a future stay. All vouchers for future stays are valid for 1 year from the original booking date.
     
    Guest are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for such unexpected circumstances.

HOTEL POLICIES

  • Tourism Fund

    Please note an optional donation to the Tourism Fund of Barbados will be applied to your account of US$1 per day which allows guests "give back" to the island in a direct and meaningful way.   • Deposit Policy

    For guests whom have booked direct with us the following deposit policies are applicable.

    Refundable Policy

    A three night deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the balance of payment to be made upon check in to Sea Breeze Beach House.

    Non-refundable Policy

    Full payment is required in order to secure your reservation, and this payment is non-refundable, non-modifiable and non-transferable.
    For guests that have booked through a third party travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly to confirm their deposit policies.
  • Room & Bed Request Policy

    Please note room requests and bedding requests are not guaranteed, however we will do our best to try and accommodate their request. Please send your requests to [email protected].
  • Pack for a Purpose

    We are committed to being a responsible corporate and community citizen and are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and bring supplies for the less fortunate you'll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families. On arrival just hand over the supplies to us and we will deliver them to the Charity on your behalf.  Please click here to see what supplies are needed for our project.
  • Deposit by Credit Card

    Please note that the credit card used to make the booking and pay any deposits must be presented at the time of check-in with proof of ID (both photographic and signature).
  • Guest Incidental Authorization Policy

    There is a mandatory incidental deposit taken at check in by either credit card or via a cash deposit. Guests are recommended to activate signing privileges by allowing a deposit of US$250.00 to be authorized on their card or they can decline this service and deposit a fixed amount of US$250 in cash. All unused amounts of the deposit will be refunded on departure.
  • Government Room Levy

    As of July 1st, 2018, there is a mandatory room rate levy required to be payable on departure which is US$5.50 per bedroom per night. For 2+ bedroom suites, this charge is based on the number of bedrooms in the suite.
  • Early Check out Policy

    If a guest wishes to check out from the hotel early, the refund will be based on the total stayed room nights plus 3 used nights. The balance of the reservation will be refunded to the guest, if the reservation was made directly with the hotel. If this was done through a tour operator, then the refund will be done through the tour operator.
  • Smoking Policy

    All areas of the hotel are non-smoking, this includes in all rooms and suites, balconies, corridors, public areas, restaurant and bars. Failure to comply will result in a US$250 charge to your guest account. 
    There are designated smoking areas at the hotel. These areas do have signs.
