What are the important things I need to know about my holiday at Sea Breeze Beach House?

TRANSFERS AND TAXI

Sea Breeze is approximately a 15-minute drive from the airport. Transfers to and from the resort are available. Please contact guestservices@sea-breeze.com.

Taxis are also readily available at Barbados Grantley Adams Airport.

Should a complimentary transfer be included in your stay please ensure that you provide your arrival and departure flight details to our team. Your complimentary transfer includes one trip from the airport to the hotel and one trip back to the airport from the hotel.

WEATHER AND TRAVEL DELAYS
In the event of official airline delays or cancellations for whatever reason that might result in guest arrival a day or more later than planned, Sea Breeze Beach House will offer guests a voucher for the value of the nights' rate towards an extended or future stay.

In the event of an official severe weather system warning issued for the island of Barbados resulting in closed airports or cancelled flights, Sea Breeze Beach House will waive the cancellation penalty and provide a voucher for the value of the full deposit paid towards a future stay. All vouchers for future stays are valid for 1 year from the original booking date.

Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for such unexpected circumstances.

TOURISM FUND
Please note an optional donation to the Tourism Fund of Barbados will be applied to your account of US$1 per day which allows guests "give back" to the island in a direct and meaningful way. This donation is at the discretion of the guest and can be accepted or declined at check out. For more information on the tourism fund please visit BHTA Tourism Fund.

DEPOSITS
For guests who have booked directly with us, the following deposit policies are applicable:

REFUNDS
A three night deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the balance of payment to be made upon check in to Sea Breeze Beach House.

NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS
Full payment is required in order to secure your reservation, and this payment is non-refundable, non-modifiable and non-transferable.

For guests that have booked through a third party travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly to confirm their deposit policies.

ROOM & BED REQUESTS
Please note room requests and bedding requests are not guaranteed, however we will do our best to try and accommodate their request. Please send your requests to stay@sea-breeze.com

PACK FOR A PURPOSE
We are committed to being a responsible corporate and community citizen and are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travellers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and bring supplies for the less fortunate you'll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families. DEPOSIT BY CREDIT CARD
Please note that the credit card used to make the booking and pay any deposits must be presented at the time of check-in with proof of ID (both photographic and signature).

GUEST INCIDENTAL AUTHORISATIONS
There is a mandatory incidental deposit taken at check in by either credit card or via a cash deposit. Guests are recommended to activate signing privileges by allowing a deposit of US$250.00 to be authorised on their card or they can decline this service and deposit a fixed amount of US$250 in cash. All unused amounts of the deposit will be refunded on departure.

GOVERNMENT ROOM LEVY
There is a mandatory room rate levy required to be payable on departure which is US$9.63 per bedroom per night. For 2+ bedroom suites, this charge is based on the number of bedrooms in the suite.

EARLY CHECK-OUTS
If a guest wishes to check out from the hotel early, the refund will be based on the total stayed room nights plus 3 used nights. The balance of the reservation will be refunded to the guest, if the reservation was made directly with the hotel. If this was done through a tour operator, then the refund will be done through the tour operator.

Please note - If you've made a non-refundable reservation, there will be no refund offered for early check-outs.

NO SMOKING AREAS
All areas of the hotel are non-smoking, this includes in all rooms and suites, balconies, corridors, public areas, restaurant and bars. Failure to comply will result in a US$250 charge to your guest account. 

There are designated smoking areas at the hotel. These areas do have signs.
