Great place to stay with family and all inclusive
one of the best resorts we have stayed in. The resort has fantastic staff who are ever ready to help and support and always with a smile on the face. There were enough activities planned for both kids and grownups. Everything was very clean and the food in the buffet and for lunch had enough variety for us not to get bored. We loved the Aqua Terra perhaps a little more than the Cerulean but both were very good. There was fun night time entertainment planned and the barbecue evening by the beach was fantastic. We loved Sea Breeze and will definitely like to go back
Beautiful beach setting. The adults only pool area was lovely and quiet and the pool staff who were polite brought us drinks regularly. The food was good but the a la carte was repetitive and didn't change in 2 weeks. The Aqua Terra was a beautiful spot overlooking the beach for breakfast and their menu was better than the cerulean for dinner. The Mahogany served good varied buffet lunches. Problem with hot water in the room but was quickly resolved by mr Faye Best and we were upgraded to an unrestricted sea view room which was amazing.
Very clean everywhere in the hotel
Our family vacation just ended and i wanted to leave this review because i couldn't find too many good reviews when we searched the place.
Food: the food here was sometimes really really good, and other times just okay. Breakfast was always average. Lunch was buffet style from Mahogany and it had a good variety of things most of the time. You could also get lunch served from a menu from another (cant remember the name) restaurant/ bar. Dinner at the Aqua Terra was our favorite. Steak was amazing, potatoes and sushi was also a hit for my family. Cerulean was also very good. Largest menu so you could always find something to eat. Seafood buffet from the Mahogany was another family favorite. The seafood stew was super good. Overall, food was a fun mix of common "American" food and new (sometimes interesting) local foods.
Location: the location was perfect. Short 15 min ride from airport. The 2 beaches it's located on are perfect. Some seaweed closer on shore, but nothing to be concerned about. Waves on the south side of island are said to be rough but we found the small (sometimes medium) waves to be really fun! Sand was beautiful and there was a constant breeze which was great.
Island: our family has now been to 4 Caribbean islands and this one is a new favorite. Harrisons Cave is a must!!! Pictures can't do it justice. I would suggest talking to Sean (he's great!) from the Sea Breeze about booking a driver for the day who brings you around the island to all the best spots. Our driver was great and it was a super neat way to see the entire island. Another plus about Barbados is the island is safe - unlike others - so you can walk out of the resort and feel comfortable.
Resort: not too many complaints, other than nightlight died down early. There was a super fun girl ground that sang and everyone danced out on the dance floor, but they shut down at 11 and everyone disappeared. Great for kids but not adults seeking nighttime fun! Rooms were great. We were in the center, tall building and they were newly redone and beautiful!! Received "canopies" or little appetizer type snacks everyday in our room and they were fun to try!
Overall, this resort and island were great. Would come back for sure
The sea breeze is an excellent hotel on the south west coast of the island. Hotel grounds have 3 pools plus jacuzzi's. we upgraded to poolside room on ground floor which was approx 3 metres from door to pool. Sun loungers are very comfortable around the pool. Entertainment during the day was great with Peggy and Shaun doing a great job making sure everyone is happy. My wife especially enjoyed the bingo winning a nice little bottle of MY favourite rum, Mount Gay rum. The water aerobics was also another of her favourites which catered for young and not so young. The rum cocktails were very tasty with generous amounts of rum. Many a day I was feeling merry before lunch time at 1.00. Food was exceptional and varied each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Afternoon tea hit the spot at 4 pm. The beach and sea were out of this world and bar staff were always within ear shot to order another rum cocktail. Rooms were clean, tidy and house keeping always did a wonderful job tidying the room.
I would highly recommend the sea breeze and will be visiting again especially due to it's convenient location 5 minutes walk to Oistins and the fish fry. Great carnival atmosphere and the best sea food whichever stall you decided to eat a
